East Somerville Main Street’s invites you to take a flavorful food crawl through the East Somerville Restaurant corridor on September 13th.
Ethiopian cuisine at Fasika, characteristically consists of vegetable and often very spicy meat dishes.
Purchase your tickets for this unique opportunity to sample dishes from more than 15 of the best restaurants in the area including La Brasa (Mexican/Peruvian), Vinny’s (Italian), Rei Da Picanha (Portuguese/Brazilian), and much more. Try foods from Ethiopia, El Salvador, Haiti, and enjoy your favorites Mexican dishes from Tapatio Mexican Grill, Maya Sol, el Rincon Mexicano, and Taco Loco. Sample global flavors that represents the diversity of the East Somerville! Each restaurant will have vegetarian options and some will offer dessert like the mouth watering tres leches cake from Blanca’s Bakery, and Portuguese or Salvadorian sweet bread varieties from Ola Café.
An online ticket to the Beer Garden gets you two beers from one of Somerville’s most popular new breweries for $12.00.
“We want to bring people into the neighborhood and show them that East Somerville is a unique place filled with culinary jewels” said Teresa Vazquez-Dodero, East Somerville Main Streets Executive Director. This year there are some new additions to the event. Aeronaut Brewery will be operating a beer garden in the parking lot at 54 Broadway (additional tickets get you 2 beers!). Mount Vernon restaurant return to the crawl after a couple of years off. “This is big because Mount Vernon has been in the neighborhood forever. We want all of our culinary jewel to be represented” Teresa added.

- Adults are $25 in advance and $30 at the door
- High School and College Students, $15 in advance and $20 at the door (you will have to show ID at the check-in).
- Kids 14 and under are $5.
- Children under 5 are free.
