A Chinese Hotpot Restaurant Opens it’s doors in Union Square

Offering a variety of vegetables, chicken, beef, pork, seafood, noodle soup, and hot pot varieties,Yuki Shabu has your next Chinese food craving ready and waiting for you.

This gourmet Chinese restaurant has opened in the core of Union Square. “Queenin (business owner) and the entire team are excited to offer traditional Chinese food to the community here in Union Square” says Joe Lam, Queenin’s business partner and Hong Kong native. Leading  the food program at Yuki Shabu is Joe’s father. He has decades of experience cooking Chinese cuisine, starting in China and continuing to master his craft here in the Boston area. “Our chef will provide customers authentic flavors from mainland China. from wonton noodle soup, sliced Szechuan style fish, and crispy pork. We have all the options to suit your tastes.”

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere.You can sit down to eat either at the food bar in front or in the back part of the restaurant to enjoy the full hotpot experience. Choose between spicy, savory, and mild soup flavors  to pair with the platters of ingredients which are cooked in the broth table side before being eaten. “We have platters of vegetables, seafood, tofu and noodles, but the thinly sliced meats are the most popular” says Joe.

The restaurant is located at 16 Bow Street, and plans to serve beer in the future. Hours are 11 30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, 11 30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and Sundays 12:00 – 9:30pm.
