Thinking of Pizza?

Yes! For Dessert? Why not! Apple, banana, orange, and blueberries are some of the ingredients of the unique pizza that you can find in Capone Foods. Since last month this specialty foods’ market in Union Square offers frozen pizza, which was recognized by the WGBH’s Craving Boston food blog as one of the five locally made frozen dinners that wont disappoint you. “High-quality cuisine exists in many forms, including frozen…” says in the article.

Pizzas are no longer just for lunch or dinner. According to Al Capone, Capone Foods owner, pizza makes also for a great dessert. Al has a variety of flavors in his store–eleven in total– from upscale pepperoni and fresh sausage with ricotta for meat lovers, to mushroom pesto and cheese, and zucchini and onion for those the veggie palates. Cooking times for these pizzas will vary from oven to oven, but in 15 to 20 minutes, you will have a delicious pizza ready to eat!

Free Tasting!

Next Saturday, May 21th, Capone Foods will offer free samples from 12pm to 4pm. “We will have our new Neapolitan style and the limited edition apple and cherry, blueberry and banana, and orange dessert pizza” said Al. Don’t miss this opportunity to try Al’s pizzas, which are handmade, and only done with natural products and fresh fruits. The 8-inch pies are sold frozen for $6.95, $7.95, or 8.95, depending the flavor. You can order online and have the frozen pizzas delivered straight to your home too.
