Nibble Kitchen The 2026 Line-Up:
Felice’s Italian Bakery, 100% Gluten-Free & Dairy-Free – 6/13, 6/27, 9/5, 10/3
About the Business: Chef & Owner Chris Felice created Felice’s Italian Bakery as the first professional leap into a journey she has been working on for many years now. As an Italian-American, food was always a major point of connection for Chris to her roots and extended Italian family, however that connection became more complicated when Chris’ brother’s dietary restrictions meant gluten and dairy were no longer on the table. Chris’ decision to create a 100% gluten and dairy-free bakery is in tribute to her brother and several friends with dietary restrictions, but as an Italian-American, everything Chris puts out must be 100% hand-made and delicious. Those are non-negotiable!
At the Market: Felice’s will be selling traditional Italian cookies, Italian ice, filled-to-order cannolis, and more!
Chorizology – 5/16, 5/30, 8/8, 8/22
About the Business: As a native of Northern Mexico, Chef Chris has struggled to find chorizo that meets his standards since moving to the United States. A happy problem that Chris decided to take into his own hands, he is now focused on building Chorizology into the best and most authentic chorizo brand in the US, starting of course with Somerville. Chris started with family recipes and worked with his sister to perfect the formula, now in addition to classic chorizo Chris is exploring with new flavors and proteins (vegetarian chorizo coming soon!) to make delicious and authentic chorizo available to everyone.
At the Market: Chorizology specializes in wholesale chorizo, sold frozen to ensure the absolute freshest product possible. Chef Chris will also be whipping up quesadillas, tacos, and tortas to satisfy the more immediate chorizo needs of market goers.
Karis Food & Decor – 7/11, 7/25, 8/8, 8/22
About the Business: Karis Food & Decor, sometimes known as Karis Cakes and Pastries, is a project by Chef and Owner Maritza Jules based on the business Maritza and her mother ran in their native Haiti that provided full-service catering and event planning for local weddings and celebrations. Maritza is hoping to use Farmers’ Markets, city festivals, and a series of pop-ups at Nibble Kitchen to grow her business, uplift the Haitian community in Somerville and greater Boston, and showcase her beloved cuisine to folks in the community who are new to enjoying Haitian cuisine and culture.
At the Market: Karis will be selling Haitian classics including a variety of patties, griot pork belly, kremas and more! In addition to ready-to-eat classics, Maritza will be selling épicé, the spice blend at the heart of Haitian cuisine, so shoppers can access key Haitian flavors at home.
Manaos Colombian Cuisine – 5/16, 5/30, 9/5, 10/3
About the Business: Manaos Colombian Cuisine, owned & operated by Nancy Paz, is rooted in Nancy’s love of feeding people and hosting celebrations. Chef Nancy and Manaos provide a wide variety of products and services while still finding its true calling here in Somerville, focusing on ready-to-eat Colombian classics like empanadas and guacamole, take-home specialities like handmade preserves and baked goods, and their catering services that include everything from empanadas to elaborately designed charcuterie plates and balloon decorations!
At the Market: Manaos will offer both hot & fresh and take-&-bake Colombian empanadas, as well as plenty of take-home goods like preserves, jams, pickles, and more!
