Congratulations to Nibble Alum Abdullah Srour on His Grand Opening at Bow Market!
We are thrilled to celebrate Chef Abdullah Srour, a talented Nibble alum, as he opens his very own restaurant, Petra Mediterranean Cuisine, at Bow Market! Originally from Jordan, Chef Abdullah has been part of the Nibble Entrepreneurship Program (NEP) since 2021, bringing the rich flavors of Jordanian cuisine to the community.
Chef Abdullah’s menu showcases traditional Jordanian favorites like falafel pita wraps, savory chicken shawarma plates, and mujadara—a comforting mix of lentils, bulgur, fried onions, and yogurt sauce. After completing the NEP workshop series, Chef Abdullah served as Nibble Kitchen’s Chef-in-Residence for a full year and was a familiar face at local festivals and farmers’ markets in partnership with the Commonwealth Kitchen program.
His hard work, perseverance, and passion for sharing his culture through food have now led him to the exciting opening of Petra, where you can enjoy his delicious creations full-time. Plus, Petra’s retail section offers a selection of must-have pantry staples, including olive oils and freshly made tzatziki, perfect for adding a Mediterranean touch to your own meals.
