With the unrelenting stream of blog posts, articles, tweets, etc. that are published every nano-second, it’s hard to digest the vast amount of information available. So, for Nibble readers interested in keeping up on local innovative food initiatives, we thought we’d compile a few interesting reads.
Over at boston.com First up, Union Square’s Aeronaut is running some delicious sounding pop-ups over in Allston and proceeds will support an Orlando LGBT group. Aeronaut pop up article.
Over at WGBH And speaking of pop-ups, we were thrilled with the WGBH article on our Nibble “Flavor Lounge” pop-ups. It includes some great quotes from our culinary entrepreneurs. Also, the site, “Craving Boston,” is a delicious blog.
Over at the Boston Globe And finally, one of Nibble’s past great culinary coordinators Teagan Lehrmann is now working at Food+Future coLAB, which is exploring how to bring the supermarket of the future into the present. Check out this Boston Globe article on the subject.
And don’t forget, the last Flavor Lounge pop-up is this Saturday. This is the chance to eat the best shawarma of your life, courtesy of Nimco Mahamud-Hassan. (We do not say this lightly!) Here’s the Flavor Lounge Facebook event page; please spread the word!
