It is with heavy hearts to announce that Vango Convenience store will be closing it’s doors permanently today, September 15th. Owner Thu Tran has owned and operated Vango convenient for over 14 years but says that she is tired and looking forward to having a job with regular hours, and benefits. Somerville Community Access Television broke the story last night on Somerville Neighborhood News and you can find the coverage here. Thu and “The Mayor of Union Square”, Hunter, will be missed.
